Dream on: Work outfits!!

I already have new set of clothes. It's now time to look for fashion inspiration/ideas on how to mix and match 'em.

Disclaimer: All pics posted below are all from Lookbook.nu. I do not own any one of these.

Check them out:

Very chic, stylish, business attire look from Denny W. The combination of denim jeans matched with the blazer give these looks a twist. I'm getting a vibe of not so old, and not too young from these, in which I find suited for me 'cuz I don't wanna look like a 50 year old employee (no offense meant!) wearing the usual black baggy slacks/pants.

On-the-go look from Gianni S. What I like most about this outfit is the combination of the blazer and the loose striped tank top/shirt underneath. On-the-go 'cuz you can rock this look after work. If you want to go partying and show off your swag. :D

In this look of Jerome C., color blocking is the key for you to stand out in your workplace. The combination of the green vest and red necktie gives you the Christmas season's vibe that should be felt throughout the year. Not only for a specific month. ;)

For Filippo F., it's not all about the combination of shirt, tie, and blazer for you to look stylish. Sometimes, you can divert people's attention too by looking through your printed socks, considered as one of the underrated pieces for men.

Peter A.'s heart throb look. Black sweat shirt matched with white long sleeves and solid black necktie. What makes this look so interesting for me is the sneakers. Which reminds me of my college days, wherein I always wear  sneakers. My reason behind it was, in case of emergency I can run as fast as I can without worrying about me getting slipped unlike the leather shoes which is more prone to that. LMAO!

Another color blocking outfit courtesy of Anthony R. I like the way he incorporated the cream blazer, pink shirt, and gray bow tie in all-in-one ensemble and here's the awesome result. I thought of matching these colors too, SOON!

Three looks from Blake J. which I find very suitable and wearable, at the same time, for me. One thing I noticed from these looks is that, wearing an eye-catching necktie matched with solid colors behind it will make you stand out above the others (1st and 2nd look). On the other hand, on his 3rd look, he proves that people can't go wrong wearing black and it is definitely CHIC.

Simple yet very well-detailed long sleeves from Michael K. matched with beige chinos and Tom's slip-ons. The shirt is perfect enough for other people to notice you. There's no need to wear neckties/bow ties or any other accessories 'cuz it is very much FINE just the way it is.

Last but not the least. For Dennis R., matching your outfit with an expensive, to-die-for bags and shoes will make you an instant STUNNER. But when I can I be able buy these expensive pieces?? LOL!

I just really hope dressing up when going to work won't give me headache. LMAO!!! One thing is for sure, Lookbook's gonna be my fashion consultant most of the time!! :D

MAY be with us!

In a few days (or should I say hours), I'm gonna wrap up my summer vacation already. Might as well, the last vacation as a student/bummer. I don't know if I should be happy or not. Happy 'cuz I'll now face another chapter of my life. Sad, at the same time, 'cuz I'll now know how hard it is to work your ass off just to earn money. Further, no more month-long/week-long vacations anymore!!!!! These thoughts are running to my mind since the day I got hired (the best thing that happened to me this month, by the way).

Cutting the drama, let's now go to the real deal. What happened to me this May??!! :P

The month of May started just like the normal one for me. Home + Eat + Internet all-day. I felt very useless 'cuz I've been doing same routines over and over again almost everyday. On the 2nd week, I suddenly felt the urge to look for a job, which landed me on my newly, fresh work now as a Recruitment Associate. The application process almost took a week before I get to hear the sweet, divine, good news "You're hired!". As we all know, there are a lot of things to accomplish before starting your job like submitting the requirements and many other stuffs. These keep me busy, very much, the past few days. Hassle much!

While waiting for the interview

Aside from the requirements, I also need to prepare the clothes that I'm going to wear everyday at work 'cuz I won't, ever, forgive myself if I'll look wasted even for a time. LOL! Vanity!! Plus, it's time to explore my artistic side now when it comes to dressing up. Mixing and matching clothes but still follows the appropriate look, which is business attire. So just recently, I bought some office clothes good for my work schedule which is from Mondays-Saturdays (half day).

Here they are:

Red checkered polo with white/black buttons details from Penshoppe (Got this at SALE price!)

I'm eyeing this jacket but I don't think it counts as a business attire... (Penshoppe)

...that blazer too!!! (Penshoppe)

Plain white polo from SM Department store (Again, at SALE price!)

Love the Workshop's pale color collection of clothes!

Long sleeves nudies from Forever 21

Blazer from Forever 21 too

While waiting for my turn at the Cashier. I actually thought of buying this. Just a souvenir! LMAO!

The new location of 21 Men at Forever 21, SM Megamall. Don't get lost people!!

Mama's gift. Swatch leather moccasins with tassels!! I've used this twice already! Very comfy!

Then.... I PIGGED out!!!! :))))

I had these for lunch....

....I had these for merienda/dinner.

FYI: I ate these 2 meals at different times. Don't get confused!! See the captions. I was in love with Goldilocks at that time so here's what you call CRAVING/ADDICTION!! LOL!!

Right before I went home, I checked some other shops too and looked for another small possible buy/s. But I dint find any.

Forgot the name of this bookstore selling second-hand books

I'll buy this, SOON! (Oxygen)

"I'm going home, to the place where I belong...." :))))

Korean craze: Secret Garden Parody

Another Korean-related entry. LOL! I have no new pics, and happenings so I relied on Youtube videos for the mean time.

Last holy week instead of devoting my time in prayers, I watched this Korean drama, Secret Garden starring Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won (Click on their names). I knew of this through a friend so I bought a DVD and tried it since the actors are famous in Korea. Eventually, I liked it!! It has 20 episodes and each episodes lasted for 45 minutes-1 hour. I finished the whole thing in the span of three days. Can you imagine that?? Dedicated and addiction are the terms suited for me. LOL!

Actually, this drama is now airing in the Philippines and many people got hooked already on the 1st week the show was aired. I also referred this drama to some of my friends and I received common reactions, they all liked it!!

So as I was browsing Youtube last Sunday, I came across with Secret Garden's parody made by the K-pop all male group, Big Bang. (FYI: This group is a sibling of 2ne1 'cuz they are both handled by the same management, YG company)

I ROFLed a lot while watching these videos. Words that describe the whole parody, INSANE but FUN!!

Watch these:

Disclaimer: If you haven't saw/watched Secret Garden even for once, I don't think you would have fun just like what I've experienced. So, its much better for you guys to watch and familiarize yourselves in the whole series first.

Part 1:

Part 2:

T.O.P as Kim Joo Won
GD as Gil Ra Im
Seung Ri as Oska
Tae Yang as Im Jong Soo (director)
Daesung as Joo Won's mom/ Joo Won's secretary

I hope you laughed hard just like what I did while watching these. Actually, this is not the 1st time Big bang made a drama parody. I think they also made one for Coffee Prince.

They're definitely INSANE!! LMAO!

Korean craze: 2ne1

I can't even remember when did I start liking Koreans. All I can say is, I find them very cool and I'm a self-confessed Korean fanatic. From the dramas, songs, movies, and most especially the way they dressed.

So now, let me introduce to y'all my favorite Korean girl group, 2ne1 (New Evolution of the 21st century). You can really tell that I'm a fan right?? The group consists of CL (leader), Dara, Bom, and Minzy. Yeah you saw it right. It's Dara = Sandara Park, once called Philippines' Pambansang Krung-Krung. I'm not really a fan of Sandara way back when she started her showbiz career here in our country. But I really do admire her quirkiness and being true to herself.

Just like any other personalities, Sandara experienced downfall on her career. And after years of not seeing her in the Philippine TV, she surprised her Filipino fans with her new group, 2ne1, which is now Korea's most promising female group. I've watched all the videos ever since they started and who would have thought that Sandara can be this GREAT?? Tell me?!! LOL! I was like, "Sandara? Is that you?"

Here's their Youtube account and watch their MV's, behind the scenes etc., 2ne1

The group rested for quite some time and now they're back with their new hit single, Lonely which has now 6.6 million views from the day it was released. Can you believe that?? Whew!! They're superstars!!

Here's the official Lonely MV:

What d'ya think of the song?? For me, I like it a lot and Dara's part is very catchy and soothing. I'm not being bias!! LMAO! <3

New look on LB: I'm feeling lucky like a four leaf clover...

Early this afternoon, I uploaded a new look on Lookbook account. (Click here to hype)

My theme for this outfit is "confusion" 'cuz of what's happening on the weather lately. I know summer isn't over yet but when May approaches, a typhoon hits the country. I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing really.  And, just last Sunday it rained hard non-stop for like four hours roughly and many have thought that the typhoon might be another Ondoy-like but good thing it's not. Whew! No!! Please! I haven't visited the beach yet!!!

To cut the story short, here's my outfit. Long sleeves for the cold season and shorts for summer. LOL! Told you, I'm very much confused so I thought of matching clothes from two different seasons and here's the result. I do hope this one's not considered as a fashion faux pas. LMAO! :D

Apparel breakdown:
Long sleeves from People are People
Forever 21 shorts
White sneakers, random brand I bought in Divi

By the way, I got the title from J. Lo's new hit, I'm into you. I got LSSed so there.

Here's the official MV:

Hope y'all like it (the outfit and the video)! haha!

New look on LB: "I may be bad but I'm perfectly good at it"

Finally, almost after a month I got a new look on my Lookbook account. (Clike here to hype)

Since I'm a bum these days and my laptop's OS crashed, I just thought of updating my Lookbook instead to get busy and to get over with what happened to my lappy toppy. LOL! So here, I'm bringing you the newest on my LB collection. :D

Outfit breakdown:
Cream/Blue/Mustard long sleeves from Forever 21's 21 Men
Topman skinny jeans
Sebago boat shoes

As much as I wanted this outfit to be shot outside, no one's gonna take my picture. Plus, I avoid the scorching heat. Whew! So, the mini photo shoot was held again as usual in the corner of my room. Luckily, found a new, much bigger spotlight so the quality is kinda clear. Thank goodness!!! 'cuz one small spotlight isn't enough.

Leftmost pic is for the cold season and the rightmost pic is a summer-ish one! LMAO! Hope y'all like it! :)
