Super late post: Wild, Young, and Free (1st summer outing for 2012)

When: March 17-18, 2012

Where: Makiling Highlands, Laguna

Just a sudden out-of-town overnight trip with my colleagues. Not an official company outing though (save the date for that!).

I had fun, we all did. Learned a lot of things (LMAO!). Right time to relax and to unwind. As the song goes "Free your mind and the rest will follow!" :D

School pride!

The girls

Welcome to Santorini!

Our room. A BIG ONE!

Reminds me of Big Brother's house.

We arrived in Laguna at dawn. We were all hungry and wanted to have our dinner as soon as we can. But looking for a place to eat was not that easy for us. We ended up at Max's, blocks away from our resort.

Kids can tell!

After the scrumptious dinner, we headed back to the resort. We were all full and wanted to have a good night sleep instead of swimming (kill joy moments for the majority!). We just had some boys/girls groupies talks with, of course, liquors in front of us. (for more photos browse here)

Loving this pond

The Lion King!

Strolling...

found this cave inside the resort

Checked out at around 11am then off to Isdaan (one of Laguna's finest resto I must say) to grab some lunch!

The group

Isdaan has the Thailand/Malaysian vibe because of the statues. We felt like we were inside a theme park and a restaurant in 1. Definitely a place to go to when you're in Laguna. :D

Summer is just starting and so are we, with the outings. More of this in the coming days!

Super late post: Pyromusical Competition (Australia vs. Canada)

When: March 10, 2012

Where: San Miguel by the bay, MOA

1st barkada hang-out of the year. This was actually a not-that-planned thingy 'cuz we just informed the group, days prior to the get-together. Though we were not complete, us four who made it had fun. We laughed at the same old jokes, reminisced those days when we were still students, and most especially "gossips" that keep us all alive! LMAO!

The roses part 2

The event was scheduled at 7pm but it started 30 mins late. Good thing, it was worth the wait. :)

1st off: Australia

We all got confused with the Aussie's theme. There were parts that the music being played was happy, then all of a sudden it became too emotional. Oh yeah?! Their theme was "BIPOLAR" (no offense meant).

One thing is for sure, they used and burned a lot of bucks on those fireworks! 7 out of 10

The roses part 3

2nd off: Canada!

Unlike Australia, Canada was more organized and they followed a theme. The result was PERFECTION! Jaw-dropper, Stunning, these words describe Canada's fireworks display. No wonder they won in the overall competition (spoiler alert, spoiler alert!

It was so good that's why I wasn't able to took a lot of pics. LOL! 9 out of 10

with my chika bebes. LMAO!

The Pyromusical competition ended at around 11pm. We haven't had any dinner at that time. Can you believe that?! Our last full meal was lunch. But in my case, it was breakfast. We were about to eat at BonChon. Too bad the place was jam packed. Instead, we just ate at the restaurant across it, Aristocrat. Whew! Finally!!

Mama's a racist! LOL!

Who can tell that I was so hungry at that time??

Presenting our guilty pleasures!!
