More clothes this March!!

Last March 26, 2011, I went to the mall to buy some good clothes for my graduation day that happened yesterday, March 29, 2011. Actually, I was planning not to buy new clothes anymore 'cuz I still have set of long sleeves in my closet that I can use for the said event. But when me and my friends went to the mall last Thursday, March 24, 2011 (Click here to read related post), I saw lots of possible buys and good news, they're ON SALE! So I asked money from my mom then headed to the mall as soon as I can to buy the clothes that I spotted!

This month alone, I have a total of 6 new clothes!!!!

So here's what I bought:

Long sleeves from People are people (P1,009.00)

Blue plaid from Forever 21's 21 Men section (P1,325.00)

I am super happy with these. Another set that will be added on my closet! :D

Baccalaureate Mass (UST's Quadri Batch Graduates)

Last March 25, 2011, UST held its annual Baccalaureate Mass for the graduating students on its open field. Of course, I was just one of the 7,000+ participants present in the said event. College of Commerce, represent!

Before the mass, all of the colleges had a small parade in the campus before settling in to the venue. Imagine how hot it was at that time. Good thing, I have my umbrella with me! The mass started at around 5 in the afternoon and lasted for almost 2 hours. One thing that I can't never forget is that when the Father Rector said in his homily, "You're not just a Thomasian. You're a national treasure!" I got chills when I heard it 'cuz that was a compliment not only for me but also to all of the Quadri Batch graduates.

The event that I thought would be an emotional moment for me turned out to be a super fun and full of surprises that I will never ever forget in my whole life!!! Go USTe!!!! Proud to be Thomasian @400!!!

*Credits to Pau Maligayo, Anna Santos, and Rachelle Castano for the pics!

Sunday, 27 March 2011

It was supposedly a shopping day but it turned out to be a FOOD TRIP!

Me and my friends went to SM Megamall last Thursday, March 24, 2011 supposedly to buy some stuffs for our upcoming graduation day. After strolling the mall for almost few hours, we dint find possible buys so as food lovers that we always are, we just had a FOOD TRIP! :D

*Some pics during our "shopping"!!

My good friend tried some heels in the dept. store. LOL!

Pau @ People are People

Since we got the money at that time, we opted to had our food trip in the finest restaurants in the mall. The first time ever our barkada did this. LOL!

First stop, lunch at Holy Cow.

I so <3 their tag line!

Almost no people in the resto....

Chas and Bruce (Btw, they're not a couple! LOL!)

My good friend, Pau. She's the one trying out some heels! LMAO!

Me and Pau

Finally! Here comes the food after the long wait!!

After lunch, we strolled the mall again. Hoping that we'll find possible buys at that time. Indeed, my good friend Pau bought a pair of fancy shoes in Cardams. But before that, we were going back and forth in every level of the mall until we finally spotted that shop. LOL!

We also went to the roof top to grabbed some fresh air and to had some picture taking. But I only got one for now. *More pics to come courtesy of Pau!

Sorry for the quality. I was just using my phone's cam.

We got hungry, again, so we went to French Baker to had our merienda.

Chas ordered baguette while Bruce ordered Ham and Cheese croissant

This is what I've ordered at that time. The srcumptious brownies!!

Am I sweet?? LOL!

Another sweetness! LMAO!

almost no people, AGAIN!

I really had fun at that time. I was so full with all the foods that we've eaten. It was just sad 'cuz our barkada was not complete at that time. No worries, this summer we'll make the most out of our youths!!! ROFL!!

Lookbook day!

As I tweeted last night or should I say early this morning,

"General cleaning, update my LB, update my blog.... Lots of things to do later. *sigh* I'm off. Good night!!"

I woke up very early just to do these things. I did the general cleaning for almost 4 hours and it was very tiring. After that, I conducted a mini-shoot to update my lookbook page. It took me one and a half hour to finish the shoot. It was worth it then 'cuz I produce two looks, hoping that they are hype-worthy. And, additional 1 hour for the editing and stuffs. Whew! I really have a long day!!!!

Now, here's one of the looks that I've got from the shoot. Hype my look here.

Apparel Breakdown:
Navy blue blazer from Zara
Jack & Jones striped tee
Paddocks skinny pants
Espadrilles from Toms

I find the shirt very nautical so I think it's very good for summer minus the blazer of course or instead of wearing pants, you can wear shorts to channel the vibe for summer 2011.

Hope y'all like it.

P.S.
I'll post another entry for my other look 'cuz I don't post it yet on Lookbook.

What happened this week?? Heavenly goodies!!!

March 14- BUM day. The usual routines while at home. Sleep, Eat, Movie marathon, and Internet!

March 15- Toga fitting day.

After the fitting, me and a classmate went to Divisoria to check possible stuffs to buy and luckily we did find some. I bought 2 polos that I can wear for my job hunt which are very cheap for as low as Php 500.00. *Photos will be uploaded soon*

This was also the day my "cake-all-you-can week" began. I asked my mom if she can buy me a half-roll chocolate cake 'cuz I was really craving for it at that moment. We checked Goldilocks but unfortunately there was no chocolate cake. What we found there was a mocha cake. Got no choice so we bought it instead just to satisfy my craving. How sad

Version 1: Untouched!

Gonna share this blessing....

Because I'm not a selfish person, I sliced the cake to how many as it can so everyone can have a taste. :)

All-time fave!

After the cake, I opened this chips that I like so much in my room while watching my fave series. :)

March 16- Nothing special happened.....

March 17- I was really craving for a chocolate cake so I texted my mom if she could buy me one. Her reply was a NO but when she came home, to my surprise, she was holding a chocolate cake!! First time ever, that  she surprise me. Thank you Mom!!! :*

Yummy!

Because this is my fave, I dint share it to anyone.... Sorry!! After I finished eating this, my throat felt so bad and as if I'll gonna have tonsilitis. So, I drank a lot of water then in a few hours everything went fine. Whew! Gluttony kills!!! LOL!

March 18- When my mom came home, she bought me again a chocolate cake but this time it was from Red Ribbon and I dint ask for it.

This time I shared it 'cuz I believe in karma. ROFL!!

March 19- I was inspired by the dish that I saw in the movie "My Girl" starring Macaulay Culkin and others. It was the typical american food like grilled burgers, hotdogs and lots of protein/carbs-high foods. So I suggested to my mom if we can have it. Unfortunately, she refused to give me money so I just used my own instead to buy all the necessary ingredients that I need for the dish. My piggy bank is getting thinner now...... :(

Variety to choose from...

I checked the fresh meat section and I found that the prices were beyond my limit (my budget: Php 500.00 only) so instead of making my own burger patty, I thought of buying the ready-to-cook one.

Encouraging promo...

I checked the hotdog section first before deciding what burger patty to buy. Then, I came across this promo. I get easily encourage when a product comes with a free or a big discount. So, I dint think twice I immediately got one. LMAO!

My basket!

Chose Argentina Deli-burger over CDO. :)

Fridge stuffs....

When I got home, I was very excited to cook and when I opened the freezer I saw these (except the Argentina one). Damn, I should've checked the fridge first before heading out to the grocery.....

Okay moving on.... It's:

Grilling time!!!!

The result!

I was really excited to eat all of these so I dint mind the presentation. I just grabbed my phone and took a snap shot of it. hahaha!

Definitely, I ate a lot!!!! LOL!

I so love this life that I have, a BUMMER/SLACKER! More foods to come in the coming days... :D
